About Instructor

Since I could remember, I had this natural urge to climb anything and everything. Whether it was trees, jungle gyms, or furniture, climbing always felt like second nature to me. So when I finally started pole fitness at the age of 17, everything clicked. It was as if I had found something I was meant to do all along. The movements, the transitions, the feeling of being completely connected to the pole, It all came so naturally to me. It felt like destiny. As a grown up theatre nerd, it was so life changing to finally find another art form where I can be myself and express my creativity. To this day, Pole has shaped the person I have become and continues to empower me to push myself in ways I never thought was possible. Pole Dance is more than just a hobby; it is a part of who I am.

What inspired you to become a pole instructor?

My desire for becoming a Pole Instructor comes from my deep desire to help people become the best versions of themselves. I’ve always believed that true strength and confidence comes from within, and pole dancing is such a powerful way to unlock that. It’s not just about mastering tricks or building physical strength, it’s about self-expression, empowerment, and growth. Watching others push past their limits, gain confidence, and discover a love for their bodies is the most rewarding part for me. I wanted to be someone who helps people realise their potential and embrace their inner strength, just like pole did for me.

Something that no-one would ever know about you? Or a fun fact.

I’ve got a lot of hidden talents, I guess you could say! Two fun facts about me: first, I can walk on high circus stilts (yes, I’m literally taking things to new heights). Second, not only am I a singer, but I’ve found a way to incorporate singing into my pole routines. It’s a whole new level of multitasking!

What do you do outside the pole studio – work or personal.

When I’m not at the pole dance studio teaching or training, you’ll likely find me performing any chance I get! I’m currently auditioning and performing in musicals all around Sydney. If I’m not singing, dancing, or acting, you can bet I’m at the gym working on my fitness. On weekends, I like to keep things lively by podium dancing at various nightclubs around the city because why not keep the energy going?

Most inspiring person you have met and what inspires you about them?

I had the privilege of growing up with my big sister, Emma McDonald, who has been my pole idol since I was 8 years old. From an early age, I was always drawn to her grace, strength, and skill on the pole. One of my most vivid memories, and the moment I realised I wanted to follow in her footsteps, was watching her perform a jaw-dropping routine on Australia’s Got Talent back in 2010. I remember sitting there, utterly mesmerised, as she executed moves I had only ever dreamed of. It was that performance that lit a fire in me, showing me that pole dancing was more than just a form of fitness, it was an art.

What is your favorite quote?

Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world! – Marilyn Monroe

If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?

If I had superpowers, I’d definitely want to fly! Not only would it be the most freeing feeling ever, but let’s be real, I’d finally get to places on time! No more running late or missing buses, I’d just soar through the sky and enjoy the view while I’m at it. Plus, I bet it’d make for some epic entrances!
