Illuminate is Achieve Pole Studio’s amateur pole competition, back for another year on Saturday 31 October 2026. This year we’re embracing a Halloween theme!

Designed for first-time and emerging competitors, Illuminate is the perfect introduction to the competition stage. Whether you’ve always wanted to perform, aren’t quite ready for the larger competitions, or simply want to experience what it’s like to compete in a supportive, encouraging environment, this is where your competition journey begins.

Illuminate is not about the difficulty of tricks. It’s about the performance.

Old School Icons is a weekend of celebrating the roots of pole with legends who’ve lit the stage. It’s the ultimate experience for the pole dancers who loved the earlier days of MPDA when it was more about the show then the tricks.

So, for a whole weekend, we’re going back to where it began.

The club choreo. Old school showgirl glam. The unapologetic sass. Going back to the roots…

Join six iconic instructors, some of Australia’s OG pole pioneers including the Dame of Pole herself – Felix Cane, and pros who live and breathe the artform. This is a celebration of the Aussie showgirl style that packed out theatres & made MPDA a global phenomenon.

OSI is an intimate weekender with spots limited to just 30. Two groups of 15 will get to learn from 6 of Australia’s most iconic OGs and old school style dancers.
