I did my first beginner class back in 2011 and was immediately hooked! I didn’t have a dance or gymnastic background and I wasn’t fit or strong, so it was really hard at first but I was determined to stick at it. Over the years that followed, I went on to compete (and place) in a some amateur level comps as well as appearing in music videos. These days my passion is instructing pole, I love creating choreography to teach my students and helping them achieve their goals safely and effectively!

What inspired you to become a pole instructor?
My instructors! As a student I was just in awe of my instructors. And not just their incredible pole skills but also their knowledge, patience and passion. They helped me achieve things I never thought I could do! It literally changed my life. And I love being on that journey now with my own students.
Something that no-one would ever know about you? Or a fun fact.
I’m a volunteer youth mentor for a non-profit organization called Raise.
What do you do outside the pole studio – work or personal.
I work as a graphic designer full time
Most inspiring person you have met and what inspires you about them?
My mum! She grew up in poverty, moved to Australia and went on to have a successful career in a male dominated field. She’s a boss bitch.
What is your favorite quote?
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken
If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?
To be able to fly!
What is it that you love about Achieve
I love the beautiful studio but I love the beautiful students and instructors even more! Achieve has the nicest vibe, super friendly and welcoming. It’s a safe and happy place for me and I’m grateful to be a part of it!
