I started pole as a new mum, with a little 6 month old at home, as someone who had lost a little bit of herself in the process of becoming a mum. I really wanted to etch back that me time and pole came to me as the answer as I knew that, as a complete beginner I would not be able to compare my progress to “how I was before baby”. In the weeks of learning pole I became obsessed and I love the feeling of freedom and joy of movement it brings to my life. Achieve is a special studio not just because Andrea loves to join in on all her students pole journeys from beginner to more experienced – she also has a special gift with those of us in that “older mum, but not so mumsy” bracket.
